On November 23, 2024, the Winter Park (FL) and Orlando Alumni Chapters joined forces once again to host a tailgate for the iconic Florida Classic, a college football rivalry between Bethune-Cookman University and Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. Held in Orlando, this event served as more than just a pre-game celebration it was a dynamic social and community engagement effort that brought brothers and the local community together.

This year’s tailgate was particularly special, as it was held in collaboration with the City of Orlando, which has been working to strengthen its ties with Divine Nine (D9) organizations in Central Florida. The city provided dedicated space for D9 organizations to showcase their presence, and both alumni chapters proudly represented Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Brothers, both local and visiting, enjoyed great food, refreshing beverages, and the camaraderie of the fraternity. The event was graced by the presence of charter members from the Winter Park Alumni Chapter, along with prominent fraternity leaders, including the Province Keeper of Records, the MTA Coordinator, and the Event Conference Coordinator. The tailgate not only celebrated the spirit of the Florida Classic but also reinforced the shared bond and fellowship among brothers
