This event is open to the public. Doors will open at 7:00pm, and there is no charge for entry with the donation of a new, unwrapped children’s book featuring black characters, a black author or a black illustrator. Monetary donations will be accepted in lieu of a book.
About this event
The Winter Park (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, present their 2024 Holiday Party and Book Drive.
Join us from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 3NINE at Rosen Plaza for this year-end celebration promoting childhood literacy, a love for reading and cultural awareness. Entry is free with the donation of a new children’s book featuring black characters, a black author or black illustrators. Monetary donations will also be accepted at the door. The books will help us maintain our Tiny Free Library at the Welbourne Avenue Preschool and Nursery. A list of suggested books is available here.
Classy cocktail attire is required.
