Makers Lab is a hands-on interest group for brothers who enjoy designing, building, and experimenting. Brothers work across materials and methods such as metalwork, woodworking, jewelry, engraving and etching, 3D printing, digital fabrication, and small-scale manufacturing projects to produce items of interest, such as paraphernalia, jewelry, useful tools, or other items of personal interest.
The group brings together both traditional and modern making techniques, with a focus on learning, skill-sharing, and thoughtful discussion around tools, materials, and process. In addition to individual and collaborative projects, Makers Lab regularly attends local maker fairs, workshops, and related events to stay connected to the broader maker community and emerging ideas.
This group may also be used to engage young people. Members are encouraged to get their kids involved.
